Artlab Gallery Virtual Exhibition • Showcasing Artwork of the BFA Practicum Class of 2020 at the Department of Visual Arts, 澳门六合彩开奖预测
A note from Liza Eurich (Gallery Manager, Artlab Gallery)
We recognize that these are unprecedented times. With that in mind, the Artlab Gallery will be celebrating the Department of Visual Arts BFA Practicum students by hosting "handle with care", as a virtual exhibition. Though not a traditional show, this platform offers the Artlab Gallery the opportunity to acknowledge the engaging and thought-provoking work undertaken by practicum students over the course of the academic year. In moving beyond the physical space of the gallery, this virtual show invites viewers to join with us and share in their achievements. A heartfelt congratulation to these students for their enduring work ethic and perseverance on this and with all of their future endeavors.
Lastly, the Artlab Gallery would like to thank the Department of Visual Arts faculty and staff for their support throughout the year and with this initiative. We would also like to thank the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, as well as Mathew Hoy, from the Department of Communications and Public Affairs for their help with this project.
A note from Professor Anna Madelska
The end of term in the Visual Arts Department is usually marked by the BFA Practicum Exhibition in the Artlab - a showcase of artwork from 澳门六合彩开奖预测鈥檚 Bachelor of Fine Art Practicum class. Unfortunately, this year's Practicum Exhibition had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. But it does not undermine the four years of intense critiques, collaborations and discussions that have built a strong community of emerging artists. In lieu of the usual show, the graduating students are sharing their most recent work in a virtual exhibition. I hope you will join us in celebrating the full year of hard work, exploration, growth and community through the achievements of this year's Practicum group online.
